Article Processing Charges (APC)

Discovery Medicine is a fully open-access journal. To cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, website maintenance, and journal management, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2600 USD applies to all manuscripts accepted after peer review.

What the APC Covers:

• Immediate, worldwide open access to the full article text.
• Website construction and maintenance.
• Developing and maintaining electronic tools for peer-review and publication.
• Preparation in various formats for online publication.
• Editorial fees.
• Others.

Tax and Transaction Fee:

Applicable local VAT or other taxes will be added where required.

Discounts and Waivers:

Authors from low- and middle-income countries may be eligible for discounts or waivers on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the World Bank classification of economies.

Refund Policy

APC is required after a manuscript has been accepted following peer review. The journal does not provide any refunds once the APC has been paid.
